Popular Punjabi actress Navneet Kaur, who has worked in a number of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam movies, will marry Ravi Rana, a politician and independent MLA from Badnera Constituency in Maharashtra, in the world’s largest mass marriage to be held at Amravati’s Science Core grounds on February 2.
The legislator told reporters that about 2834 couples from different communities will also take wedding vows, creating a world record for the largest mass marriage. “They include visually challenged, handicapped, tribals as well as minorities,” he added.
Ravi Rana also said his fiancee Kaur will quit films and get into social work after marriage. Over five lakh guests, including yoga guru Baba Ramdev, top stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Sanjay Dutt are expected at attend the event.
