Dhanush – Selva – Yuvan in ‘Irandam Ulagam’

Director Selvaraghavan’s new film ‘Irandam Ulagam’ is quietly progressing and is almost nearing completion. The secrecy of the production is unintentional and it just happened so.

The film starring now Dhanush and Andrea was started some four years ago and the first photo shoot was done with Karthi and Sandhya. But when things actually started rolling two years later Dhanush and Andrea stepped in places of Karthi and Sandhya.  But the film was again dropped for unknown reasons.

But when ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ did not elicit the desires response from the audience, Selvaraghavan resumed work for ‘Irandam Ulagam’.

Selva is returning to his own Yuvan Shankar Raja and so the music going to be one of the highlights of ‘Irandam Ulagam’. The movie which is all likely to be the next film for Dhanush after ‘Aadukalam’ has been acquired by UTV Motion Pictures for marketing.

Prakash Raj joins Venghai

Prakash Raj has joined his favourite director Hari’s new film Venghai, which has Dhanush and Tamannaah in the lead.

Prakash and Hari have great understanding and the director has given him impressive villain roles in Singam, Ayya etc.

Trisha speaks perfect Chennai Tamil

Trisha recently broke a wall by dubbing for herself in ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. Though it was at the insistence of Kamal Haasan, the actress seemed to have loved it.

In her upcoming film ‘Mankatha’, Trisha plays a Chennai slum girl and the shooting is currently happening is a huge slum set erected in Chennai outskirts. You know what? The ‘Mankatha’ team is pleasantly surprised to see her speaking the unique Tamil as an expert.

She is known to be a thoroughly city bred hip girl and with the élan with which she is speaking the dialect, one thing is clear. She is a thorough professional.
