Suraj Venjaramoodu is known for his acting histrionics and can handle diverse roles with ease. He is playing a veteran in an upcoming movie, complete with grey hair. He plays a clerk in ‘Ente Sathyanveshana Pareekshanangal’.
In the movie, he essays the role of a clerk at the Thirupananthapuram court who has been working there for the past four years. Script is by Shankar Ramakrishnan and the movie is being directed by Subil. Aparna Gopinath, Mythili, Rahman, Sudheer Karamana etc are part of the cast.
After a long time, Sreenivasan will once again turn a school teacher for the new movie ‘Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam’. Directed and Scripted by debutante Joe Challiseerry, this satirical and humorous movie is based on one of the earlier stories of Sethu which came out in the title ‘Deshathinte Vijayam’.
Sreenivasan appears as Madhavan Kutty, a school teacher in a silent village who is a favourite among the villagers. Rajashri Nair is the heroine of the movie while Nivin poly, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Salimkumar, Manian pillai raju, Iniya , Suraj venjaramoodu and K PA C Lalitha also appear in other important roles. Mohan Sithara is in charge of the music section while Sameer Haq handles the camera. David Kachappilly produces this movie under his own banner.
Renowned model-anchor-actress Shweta Menon, who is riding high with the success of Rathinirvedam and Salt N Pepper, has signed yet another powerful role in Actress, directed by Mohana Krishnan, maker of Nalacharitham Nalam Divasam and Venal Maram.
She will play a director in this film, the story of a youngster who hopes to make it big as an actor in tinseltown but ultimately becomes an actress! Metro fame Bhagath Manuel will be seen in a meaty role.
The pooja for the film was held in Kochi recently. The movie also stars Janardhanan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kottayam Nazir and Sarayu among others. Achante Makan fame Samjad Narayanan has written the screenplay and Cocktail fame Ratheesh Vega has scored the music. The shooting will commence in October in Kochi.

The actress will be soon as the heroine to Mukesh in the new movie ‘Gruhanathan’, to be directed by Mohan Kupleri. The movie will also feature Siddiq, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mamukkoya, Indrans, Kalpana and Bindu Panicker in other important roles.
‘Gruhanathan’ would be produced by Neythalath Suchitra under the banner of Gurupurnima.
