Jo as she is affectionately known is doing the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit How Old Are You? She will be doing the role made memorable by Manju Warrier from the original in Tamil version. The untitled movie’s first schedule will start in New Delhi from today (Nov 17), and later shift to Chennai.
Incidentally, the original was also a second coming for, Manju Warrier in Mollywood. Roshan Andrews, who directed the Malayalam version is directing the remake as well for Suriya’s maiden production venture under 2D Entertainments. Actor Rahman will do the role of her husband in Tamil.
Even before the full details of her film is out, actress Manju Warrier has signed her next film. The film is titled How Old are You? and will be directed by director Roshan Andrews. Popular duo, Bobby and Sanjay will handle the script for the film. It is said that the film will be very different from what the duo has scripted so far. Manju Warrier will essay the role of Nirupama and Kunchacko Boban will do a significant character in the movie. The movie will be produced by Listin Stephen and is expected to start from January.
Meanwhile, Manju Warrier was recently spotted at the Varikkasseri Mana in connection with the shooting for her upcoming advertisement for Kalyan Jewellers. A scene where she was seen talking over mobile phone to Aishwarya Rai was filmed there.
The big budget movie ‘Casanova’ by Roshan Andrews will have the rest of its parts shot at Bangkok. The movie which will have Superstar Mohanlal as a large scale flower dealer, had its first schedule shot at Dubai.
‘Casanova’ scripted by Bobby-Sanjai, tells the story of a protagonist named after the Italian romantic, who believes in the power of love. The movie will have half a dozen heroines including Lakshmi Rai, Roma, Sanjana and Shriya Saran as lead ladies to Mohanlal. The movie will have yet another schedule that will be shot at New York, before getting completed.
Though his 100th flick ‘Kaaryasthan’ may not meet with the expected success, Dileep has gone for a thinking act with signing up as movie with Roshan Andrews. His new project with the hit maker will start its shoot by the end of next year. The movie to be scripted by Bobby-Sanjay will be a family thriller.
Karunakaran will produce the movie under the banner of Carlton Films, after their project with Megastar Mammootty.
Meanwhile, Roshan Andrews will complete the shooting for Mohanlal’s ‘Casanova’ by next month.
