Jayasurya’s ‘Jilebi’ trailer released

The trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Jilebi’ is released. The movie features Jayasurya in the lead role.

The movie directed by ad filmmaker Arun Shekhar is a comedy entertainer.

Remya Nambeesan is the heroine. Neeraj Madhav, Dharmajan, K P A C Lalitha, Vijayaraghavan, Shari, and Joju George also do prominent roles along with two child artists in ‘Jilebi.

Deepak Dev is the music director. Alby is the cinematographer. ‘Jilebi’ is produced by East Coast Vijayan under the banner of East Coast Communications.

‘Karmayodha’ to start this August

Major Ravi, known for his movies centred on patriotism and military backdrops will start shooting for his new movie with Mohanlal titled ‘Karmayodha’ from the 17th of next month, that is the auspicious day of Chingam 1. The movie scripted by the director will have its initial schedules at Mumbai. Biju Menon, Kalinga Sasi, Remya Nambeesan, Asha Sarath, Rajeev Pillai, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Aishwarya Devan, Murali Sharma and new face Malavika appears in important roles. Produced by Haneef Muhammed, ‘Karmayodha’ will be presented by Red Rose Creations in association with MR Productions, the production banner of director Major Ravi.

Prithvi-Lal Jose team up in ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’

The shooting of Lal Jose’ forthcoming film Ayalum Njanum Thammil will start soon.

Prithviraj is playing a doctor in the film, which has been scripted by Bobby and Sanjay. Narain will also play an important role in it. Remya Nambeesan, Rima Kallingal and Samvritha Sunil play the female leads.

The film reportedly talks about the issues between a senior doctor in a hospital played by Prathap Pothen and the junior doctor there, played by Prithviraj.

Ayalum Njanum Thammil is being produced by Prem Prakash. Prithviraj is currently shooting for Ranjith Sankar’s Molly Aunty Rocks.

Remya Nambeesan entered Tamil film industry in style. She was one rare actress who impressed with her first film itself. Her character in ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’ as a modern playful girl and a pitiable woman in the second half struck the right chord with the Tamil audiences and the beauty from Malayalam arrived.

In fact she had become popular in all south Indian language films after her debut in Tamil. Not just that. Remya is also a singer now.

Remya’s fortunes in Kollywood seem very bright as she has some real good films coming up in the New Year. In Tamil Remya Nambeesan has three films – Ilaignan, Muriyadi and Kullanari Koottam – ready for release. Of these ‘Ilaignan’ which is releasing for Pongal is a big one. In the high value film Remya Nambeesan pairs opposite Pa. Vijay.

After ‘Ilaignan’ Remya Nambeesan is expected to go great guns and she is also ready for it.
