Rajamouli’s ‘Baahuballi’ has joined the 100 crore club within two days of its release which is a record for an Indian film.
So far many Indian films have collected 100 and the list includes quite many Bollywood films like ‘PK’, ‘Three Idiots’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Ra One’, ‘Kick’, ‘Dabaang’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ etc. The list also includes some south Indian films ‘Enthiran’, Viswaroopam’ and ‘Kaththi’. Now ‘Baahubali’ comes as a proud entrant that too in just two days of its theatrical release, a record which no other Indian film has achieved.
As reported earlier, ‘Baahubali’ which released in 15 languages in 4000 screens across the world had garnered Rs.60 crores collection on the first day of its release and on the second day it has collected Rs.55 crores putting the total to a whopping Rs.115 crores. Out of this the Indian theatrical share is Rs.90.
‘Baahubali’ stars Prabhas, Rana Daggupathi, Anushka, Tamannah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nasser and many others. The film was made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
Milky White beauty Tamanna will join the shoot sets of Baahubali from today. While the lead cast Prabhas, Anushka and Rana have completed major portions of their shoot, Tamanna is now set to join the unit.
Prabhas is said to be playing dual roles in the film as Baahubali and Sivudu and Tamanna is one of the female leads. The big-budget period drama is taking shape in the hands of director S.S. Rajamouli while Arka Media banner is producing it.
Baahubali current schedule shoot is taking place in lavishly erected sets in Annapurna Studios under the supervision of Sabu Cyril. M.M.Keeravani is providing the soundtrack and Senthil is cranking the camera.
While gossipmongers are a buzz on Prabhas being injured in an accident on Baahubali sets, the Young Rebel Star Prabhas has refused the rumors and clarified that he is perfectly fine.
Prabhas has informed this through his official facebook page, “Rumours of me having an accident while shooting for Baahubali in Kerala are not true. I am perfectly fine and shooting is going on smoothly in Kerala. Thanks to all my fans and well wishers for the love and concern.”
Baahubali Kerala schedule will take place till December first week and the makers will shoot crucial war scenes in the entire December. Rajamouli directed Baahubali also features Anushka and Rana as other leads.
Young Rebel Star Prabhas has yet again teamed up with ace director S.S.Rajamouli, after their Chatrapathi was a blockbuster, which is no more a news. Now the duo teamed up for a period action drama titled ‘Baahubali’ that started rolling and the second schedule has started today at Ramoji Film City.
Anushka is pairing opposite Prabhas in Baahubali that also casts Rana Daggubati to play the role as Prabhas’s brother. Tamil actor Sathyaraj is roped to enact a crucial role in the film. Arka Media Works producing Baahubali with 100cr budget in Telugu as well as Tamil, one of the priciest films in India.
Technical crew of Baahubali includes music director MM Keeravani, art director Sabu Cyril and cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar.
Successful director SS Rajamouli and Young Rebel Star Prabhas second combo film Baahubali, with the period backdrop is all set to commence its regular shooting works from the mid April.
The film is touted to be an action adventure and the pre-production works are going in full swing from a while now. The talkie part sequences will commence and later a song will be canned. Anushka will be seen as the leading lady alongside Prabhas while Rana Daggubati plays antagonist.
Baahubali is being made with a whopping budget, highest ever in TFI by Arka Media banner production. Keeravani is providing the tunes and Senthil cranks the camera. The film will simultaneously be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions.
Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Rebel has recently wrapped up few dare-devil action shots in Hyderabad and now, the star along with other unit members are leaving to Pollachi for a new schedule of shoot. Scenes on Prabhas and other prominent cast will be filmed.
The entire shooting of Rebel is expected to be completed soon and the film will reach the theaters by the end of August. Being directed by choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence, Rebel has two leading ladies Tamanna and Deeksha Seth while Ram Prasad is cranking the camera and Marthand K Venkatesh is taking care of editing.
The out and out mass entertainer also has musical scores by Lawrence and the film Rebel marks the debut film of Lawrence as music director.
Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Vaaradhi shooting is currently taking place in Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad where in scenes on Kota Srinivasa Rao and Supreet and Prabhas are being filmed in the schedule.
Prabhas will be seen romancing the actresses Anushka and Richa Gangopadhay in the movie. Vaaradhi is the working title for the film and an official announcement is expected shortly. Writer Koratala Shiva is debuting as director with Vaaradhi while Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy are producing it under the banner of UV Creations. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes.

The First Look stills of Prabhas forthcoming film Rebel were out and the Young Rebel Star looked uber cool in the stills. He looked distinct from his earlier outings and the stills are garnering positive response.
The film has so far completed 50 days of shoot and is left with final schedule, which commences from 5th November. Director Lawrence informs that Rebel role is tailor made for Prabhas and he can only justify for the film. Rebel is a mass entertainer with Prabhas in a powerful action role.
Tamannah and Deeksha Seth are pairing up alongside Prabhas. J Bhagavan and J Pullarao are producing the movie on Sri Balaji Cine Media banner that has music by Thaman and cinematography by C Ram Prasad
