Jayaram’s ‘Manthrikan’ finally wraps up the shoot

The Jayaram starrer ‘Manthrikan’ that has been in the making for quite a while now is finally complete. The film has been directed by Anil and is a horror comedy.

Poonam Bajwa is the heroine of the film, and this would be the second time she would be seen along with Jayaram in a film, the first one being ‘China Town’. It also stars Muktha George, Sharath Chandran Wayanad, Vineeth Kumar, Murali Mohan, Indrans, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Sudha Nair, Riyaz Khan, Ramesh Pisharady, Kottayam Nazir, Sooraj Venjiradamoodu, Kalabhavan Shahjohn, E A Rajendran, Jayakrishnan, Devan, Anil Murali, Jayan and Mahesh, in supporting roles.

‘Manthrikan’ has been produced by Anand Kumar under the banner of Yes Cinema Company. The film is expected to release soon.

Srikanth as Karate master in Ethiri En 3

Srikanth, the Nanban star is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film titled Ethiri En 3. Poonam Bajwa is playing Srikanth’s love interest in this action thriller, Ethiri En 3.

Ramkumar handles the story, screenplay and direction of Ethiri En 3, which is edge of the seat action thriller that revolves around the life of a Software Engineer who falsely becomes accused of committing a crime and gets involved into a gang war.

The firstlook unveiled recently shows Srikanth as a Karate master. Ethiri En 3 has wrapped up its shooing and the makers are said to be busy with the post production works. Sixth Sense is producing Ethiri En 3 that has music by Dharan and cinematography by Shaman Mithru. Srikanth’s Ethiri En 3 is expected to hit the screens in this summer vacation.

Venicile Vyapari postponed to 11/11/11

Mammootty’s eagerly awaited Shafi directed Venicile Vyapari which was scheduled to release on November 4, for the Bakrid weekend has been postponed by a week.

Murali Films Madhavan Nair the producer and distributor of Venicile Vyapari has informed the Kerala theatres that his big budget film will now release on 11/11/11.

There has been a delay in the post production work of the film, hence the film has been pushed by a week.

The trade feels 11/11/11 is an ideal day to release Venicile Vyapari, as the date comes only once in 100 years.

Mammootty will appear in three different get-up’s in the film, which starts in late 1970’s till current period.

Venicile Vyapari has Mammootty, Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bajwa, Suraj Venjaranmoodu and Salim Kumar among others in the cast.

Script writer James Albert is coming together for the first time with Shafi and Mammootty. There is a positive buzz about the film.
