RGV to make a film on Osama’s Afterlife?

While the whole of US and citizens of every country are busy rejoicing the death of Osama Bin Laden and people are busy discussing the fate of Pakistan, the happenings seem to have led Ram Gopal Varma onto a whole new idea of making a film on Osama Bin Laden’s afterlife!. The director has expressed his wish in doing a film on Osama Bin Laden’s afterlife, where he rises as a ghost and haunts the White House!

The project is currently titled as ‘Terror Turns To Horror, Al Queda Part 2.’ While our very own RGV is busy with scripting for this venture, even Hollywood director Katherine Bigelow is planning a movie on the life of Osama and US’s victory.

Already Varma is working on a film titled ‘Not A Love Story’ – the story which is based on the infamous Neeraj Grover’s murder case by Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and boyfriend Mathew. RGV wants to portray the emotions these characters went through on the night of murder through this film, he expressed to the media.

Two interesting scripts based on real life incidents right? Well, looks like there’s a lot to expect from RGV this year!

It’s ‘Not a Love Story’ now: Ramu

Ram Gopal Varma’s next starring Mahie Gill in the lead and based on Maria Susairaj case has gone for a title change. Instead of it being called ‘A Love Story’ earlier it will be renamed as ‘Not a Love Story’.

Varma who opined that A love Story is the apt title at first is considering it to be renamed after shooting the film in Mumbai real locations. On the whole the emotion of horror got to Ramu and hence he thought that ‘Not a Love Story’ will suit the mood of the film.

The film is based on 2008 case of Kannada actress Maria Susairaj, who along with her naval officer lover murdered her former lover Neeraj Grover, cut his body into pieces and dumped it into a suitcase. Victim Neeraj Grover will be played by Ajay Gehl.

Deepak Dobriyal of Tanu Weds Manu fame is playing Mahie’s boy friend in the film.

Produced by Sonil Bohra and Ramu himself the film is going for a single schedule before wrapping up.
