‘Jo and the Boy’ from the makers of ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’ is set to be released for Christmas.
Rojin Thomas is the director, Manju Warier and Sanoop Santhosh in the title roles.
‘Jo and the Boy’ is a fun film which is novel in its location, subject, and presentation. The movie is about the relationship between Jo and the boy who are two strangers.
Manju Warier will be seen in a completely new get up and style as Jo. Lalu Alex, Kalaranjini, and Pearle Maaney also do prominent roles.
Neil D’ Cunha is the cameraman and Rahul Subrahmaniam is the music director. ‘Jo and the Boy’ is produced by Alice George under the banner of Good Will Entertainment.
Aashiq Abu’s next directorial venture ‘Ragini Padmini’ Manju Warier and Rima Kallingal in the lead. They are equally important roles.
The movie titled ‘Ragini Padmini’ is a woman-centric film. More details regarding the movie including the male lead are not disclosed.
‘Ragini Padmini’ is scripted by Shyam Pushkar and Ravi. The movie is expected to start rolling from next January in Bangalore. This is for the first time Manju Warier and Rima Kallingal act together.
Rima Kallingal is back to the industry after a short break following her marriage. Rima will soon join the sets of ‘Chirakodinja Kinavukal’ opposite Kunchacko Boban.
Manju Warier will join ‘Ragini Padmini’ after the Satyan Anthikkad film, the shoot of which is progressing now. Manju shares screen space with Mohanlal after 16 years in this untitled Satyan Anthikkad movie.
