Jeethu-PrithvirajJeethu’s Prithviraj starrer movie by December. The movie will be an action thriller. The director hopes to get the movie rolling by the end of this year. Pre-production work is going on quickly.

Prithviraj has previously acted in Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Memories’. The movie, which was a crime thriller met with instant success. He had followed it up with ‘Dryshyam’ which had been a blockbuster. His latest release is the Dileep starrer ‘Life of Josutty’.

Jeethu Joseph’s next with Prithviraj

Director Jeethu Joseph, whose Papanasam released recently, will have a Malayalam release coming up soon, Life of Josootty, with Dileep playing the lead.

The filmmaker is currently busy with the post production works of Life of Josootty, which is an Onam release.

Once the work is over, he will start with the pre-production of his next venture, starring Prithviraj. Jeethu has earlier directed Prithviraj in Memories.

According to certain insiders involved in the project, the film is a thriller with lots of action sequences. But these are early days. Jeethu has also announced another project with Kavya Madhavan in the lead.

Janapriya Nayakan Dileep and Mamta Mohandas in ‘Two Countries’

After wrapping up Jeethu Joseph’s Life of Josootty in New Zealand, Janapriya Nayakan Dileep has headed straight to Canada, where he will start shooting for Shafi’s Two Countries.

Mamta Mohandas is the heroine. Dileep and Mamta had teamed up as a successful pair in My Boss. They have also played the lead in Passenger and Arike.

Two Countries has been scripted by Shafi’s elder brother and Ring Master director Raffi (of the erstwhile Raffi-Mecartin team). Raffi is reportedly doing a role in the film as well.

Dileep has a release coming up during this Eid season, Sreebala K Menon’s Love 24 X 7.

‘Life of Josutty’ produced by Eros International company

Eros International, an Indian motion picture production and distribution company is planning to produce a Malayalam movie. Their debut Malayalam movie is Jeethu Joseph’s Dileep-starrer ‘Life of Josutty’.

Eros will join hands with Backwater Studios (Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas) in the production of the film. ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, ‘Lingaa’, ‘Kaththi’, ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Shamitabh’, ‘Yennai Arindhal’ are some of the popular new films of Eros.

‘Life of Josutty’ is a full length comedy movie in which Dileep plays the role of a farmer named Josutty. The movie portrays the life of Josutty from age 8 to 38.

Jyothikrishna and Rachana Narayanankkutty are the heroines. Suraj Venjarammoodu, Chembil Asokan, Harish Peradi, and Kalabhavan Mani are the other main actors in the movie.

The story and script are penned by Rajesh Varma. Anil Johnson handles the music section.

‘Life of Josutty’ Jeethu-Dileep film to start by December

Hitmaker Jeethu Joseph will kick start the shoot of his next Malayalam film ‘Life of Josutty’ by the 15th of December. The first few weeks of shoot will be at Kattappana, after which he will end the schedule.

After the first schedule that will go on for 20 days, Jeethu will shoot the rest only after a few months . Germany will be the major location of this schedule. It is learned that the story is narrated is such a way to ask for this delay in schedules.

Meanwhile Jeethu is currently in the post production work of ‘Papanasam’, his remake of Malayalam mega hit ‘Drishyam. The movie will have Kamalhassan doing the role of a Thirunelveli based Tamilian.

Pranav To Assist Jeethu Joseph?

Pranav Mohanlal, son of Mohanlal is all set to assist Jeethu Joseph in the Tamil remake of Drishyam, titled Paapanasham. The star kid is keen to learn the basics of film making and have no intentions to try a hand in acting at present.

Pranav Mohanlal debuted in the movies as a child arist, with the movie Onnaman, directed by Thampi Kannamthanam. He played the childhood of the central character Ravishankar, played by his father Mohanlal.

Pranav has won the Best Child Artist award in the Kerala State Film Awards of 2002, for his performance in the movie Punarjani, directed by Major Ravi. He has also appeared in a cameo role in Mohanlal starrer Sagar Alias Jackie Reloaded, in 2009.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Pranav will be making his debut in lead roles soon. But Mohanlal cleared the rumours by stating that Pranav is not planning act in near future. It was also reported that Pranav will be making his debut with Mani Ratnam movie; but the news later revealed to be false.

Paapanasham will star Kamal Hassan and Gauthami in the lead roles. Asha Sharath, Niveda Thomas and Kalabhavan Mani will play the other pivotal roles in the movie. Paapanasham is produced by Mohanlal’s brother-in-law, Suresh Balaji. The filming is progressing at various locations of Tamil Nadu.

Asha Sarath to pair with Mammootty


Actor-dancer Asha Sarath has made a sparkling performance as Inspector-General Geetha Prabhakar in the Mohanlal-starrer, ‘Drishyam’, directed by Jeethu Joseph. She had a number of projects ahead.

Asha will be paired with Mammootty in Renjith Sankar’s ‘Varsham’. Asha dons the wife of the character played by Mammootty in the movie. ‘Varsham’ will be a complete family picture, says Asha.

The movie is expected to start rolling from August. Asha is now in the set of ‘Angels’ directed by Jean Markose with Indrajith in the lead role. She will also be part of the Tamil ‘Drishyam’ directed by Jeethu Joseph.
