Ilayadalapathy with Dileep’s ‘Avatharam’?

Joshiy-Dileep team’s ‘Avatharam’ is planned to be remade in Tamil. According to industry grapevine Ilayadalapathy Vijay will do the role played by Dileep in ‘Avatharam’. The news is not confirmed officially.

Dileep plays an ordinary guy Madhavan in this movie. The story takes a turn when Madhavan realizes that his elder brother’s death was a murder. Lakshmi Menon is the heroine.

Written by Vyasan Edavanakkad, ‘Avatharam’ reached theatres on August 1. The movie is running in packed houses.

After ‘Drishyam’, ‘Bangalore Days’ is also being remade into Tamil. When ‘Bodyguard’, was remade in Tamil, it was Vijay who did the role played by Dileep.

‘Kavalan’ website launched

The grand Pongal attraction ‘Kavalan’ is all set to steal hearts. The much awaited film by Vijay is finalized to make this Pongal sweeter than usual.

‘Kavalan’ is a remake of the super hit Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’. It is about a body guard and the beautiful daughter of a rich man falling in love without knowing to each other and later separate without wanting to. What happened to their love and after is the story. The first half is expected to be a hilarious entertainer while the story tales a serious turn in the second half and the climax will be a shocker.

It is the 51st film of Vijay. Asin, Mithra Kurian and Raj Kiran are major actors in the film. Vadivelu is there for comedy and Roja returns playing the wife of Raj Kiran. Director Siddique, who gave one of the biggest hits of Vijay, ‘Friends’ is the director of ‘Kavalan’ also.
