Tanushree isn’t fishing for compliments

In the B-town – the world where glamour dominates the scene and compliments flow by the dozen – there is one actress who has a different approach towards the whole scenario. Having enjoyed her stint as a beauty queen years ago and staying in the glamour world for long as an actress, Tanushree is still wary of that extra attention which keeps coming her way in every public outing of hers.

“I do meet a lot of people, some not-to-interesting and a few presumably interesting,” she smiles, “However I avoid the kind of attention which comes my way as I am not comfortable with it. I keep thinking that what would I gain eventually with such attention.”

But then aren’t compliments a part of an actor’s constant journey? Why would she want to keep a distance?

“See, compliments are good to begin with but an overdose of that isn’t something that I like,” Tanushree reasons here, “I just respond to them politely and move on. I have nothing against those people who approach me; I don’t look down at them either. But then please don’t blame me if I don’t feel the same way as you do.”

Well, hope all guys our there did get the message after all.

‘Mogudu’ title confirmed for Gopichand’s next

It is well aware that Krishnavamsi is planning to direct a film with Gopichand as hero. Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) had agreed to produce the movie and the flick is likely to hit the floors in March.

The latest information is that the director and producer came to an understanding to title the film as ‘Mogudu’ and are presently busy in finalising the remaining casting and technicians.

Gopichand who tasted a failure like ‘Wanted’ recently, is busy making efforts to regain the past image by delivering a big hit in the direction of a creative director like Krishnavamsi.

This would be their debut combination and the director too is committed to deliver a big hit as most of his recent flicks bumped at the Box Office.

Krishnavamsi had some other projects on hand with Nagarjuna and Ram Charan. As both of them are busy with their respective films, he had decided to take up a project with Gopichand immediately.

Shriya’s lessons

The IIT-Madras had to witness a beautiful lecturer recently, when Shriya Saran was there to deliver a talk on movies and film industry. She used the occasion to take an important message to the young minds- not to encourage piracy.
