Mammootty and Mohanlal, the big M’s of Malayalam movie industry, will not be locking horns at Vishu box office; to so much disappointment of the fans and media. Earlier, it was expected that Mammootty starrer Bhaskar The Rascal and Mohanlal starrer Ennum Eppozhum will be releasing at the same time. But, as per the latest reports, the sources has made it clear that the movies won’t be releasing together. Ennum Eppozhum will be releasing on March 27th and Bhaskar The Rascal will hit the theatres by the second week of April. So, unlike the expectations, the theatres will not witness a star war this Vishu.
The shoot for the new Mohanlal movie ‘Pulimurugan’ will kick start by this May. The movie directed by Vysakh has gone for a script revision as the original budget planned was not found to be feasible for the movie’s prospects.
Sibi K Thomas and Udhay Krishna are the scriptwriters of the movie who has discussions with Tomichan Mulakupadam, the producer to rehash the movie story lines.
The movie which will also feature some prominent stars of the industry will now be on sets by May.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s new release ‘Ennum Eppozhum’ will be on screens by the 27th of this month.
The first look teaser of the film has come out and that features Mohanlal talking to a “Nepali gorkha”. The dialogue reminds the viewers about the superstar’s evergreen dialogues from the yesteryear hit Gandhi Nagar Second Street.
Director Sathyan Anthikkad usually waits until the completion of shooting of his film to find a name. Though he denies that there is any marketing strategy behind it, many believe it is to keep the viewers’ excitement in the project by staying in the news.
He has finally announced the title of his forthcoming Mohanlal-Manju Warrier starrer, which has been named Ennum Eppozhum.
The film has Mohanlal playing the reporter of a women???s magazine. Manju Warrier is a lawyer. He has been assigned with the job of interviewing her, which turns out to be much tougher than he had anticipated.
Ennum Eppozhum will hit the cinemas during Vishu.
