Bangalore Days’ to Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi

bangalore-daysAnjali Menon’s multi-starrer movie ‘Bangalore Days’ is being remade into other languages. The well known production firm P V P Productions has bought the remake rights of the movie in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The discussions regarding the actors in the Tamil and Telugu versions are going on. Samantha, Bharath, and Arya are being considered to do the roles played by Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, and Dulquer Salman respectively in the Malayalam movie.

The other actors are yet to be decided. The movie is planned to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

The Malayalam movie casts Dulquer Salman, Nivin Pauly, Fahad Fazil, Nazriya Nazim, Parvathy Menon, Isha Talwar, and Nitya Menon in the main roles. The main attraction of the movie was also this long list of promising actors.

Sreenath Rajendran’s ‘Koothara’ has been in the news for a while for its unusual title and the varied get up of Mohanlal. Though Mohanlal does a cameo role in this movie, the trailer and the poster are all about Mohanlal’s new look and peculiar language.

The latest poster has the beautiful picture of Mohanlal sitting in a paper boat. The poster is in the official Facebook of the movie and is also shared by Mohanlal on his Facebook page. The poster has received more than 36,000 likes.

There are reports that Mohanlal does a role with slightly negative shade in the movie. Bharath, Sunny Wayne, and Tovino Thomas do the lead roles as Koobrin, Tharun, and Ram. The title of the movie is derived from the first letters of these three names.

Janani Iyer, Gautami Nair, Sritha Sivadas, Bhavana, and Renjini do the female leads in ‘Koothara’ which is produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Bharath’s Thiruthani on Oct 19

It seems Bharath’s long wait has come to an end, as his Thiruthani is finally releasing this Friday, on October 19.

Directed by Perarasu, Thiruthani has been under making for last three years due to financial problems and lack of distributors. Also there are reports that Bharath has filed a complaint against makers, which has been settled now. And Thiruthani is hitting the screens all over Tamil Nadu on 19th of October.

Sunainana and Raj Kiran are playing lead roles in Thiruthani along with Bharath, who is a gym instructor in the movie.

Bharath, the happy man

Bharath is on cloud nine right now as he being appreciated for his performance in Vaanam. He performed brilliantly as an aspiring rock star in the film and all those who saw the film showered praises on him.

Bharath says “I played a great role in Vaanam and happy to be a part of such sensible film”. It is not only Vaanam behind his happiness but there is something more. Bharath is hoping that his forthcoming films Yuvan Yuvathi, Thiruthani and 555 will place him as a bankable star at the box-office.

On talking about 555, Bharath says “Currently we are busy shooting the first schedule and I am giving my 100 percent to the film. It is a complex role which pretenses a challenge to an actor in me. 555 is directed by Sasi and he is already popular with films like Sollamaley, Roja Kooottam and Poo. Sasi is bringing a complete new subject which is an inspiring project.”.

‘Vaanam’ songs from March 21

The audio launch of the Simbu starrer ‘Vaanam’ which was expected happen on March 15 has been pushed by a week. Now it is rescheduled for March 21.

One reason cited for the postponement is this. The hype created by the single ‘evandi unnai pethan’ has made the audio company to promote the song as a music video. The music video is currently under production and the team wanted the music video also be premiered on the same stage where the audio launch happens.

The rocking music of ‘Vaanam’ by Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to be one of the big highlights of the film apart from the terrific cast comprising Simbu, Anushka, Bharath, Vega, Prakash Raj, Sonia Agarwal, Jasmine, Santhanam and others.

Bharath is a gym trainer in Tiruthani

Bharath is doing the role of a gym trainer with six packs in Perarasu directed Thiruthani.

The young actor has good vibes with the director as they had worked earlier in Pazhani, an average grosser.

Perarasu believes that among the young actors, Bharath has a good chance to emerge as a future action hero.

The gym trainer role in Thiruthani is ideal for the actor to flex his muscles . Bharath also wants to shed his lover boy image with this film.

Sunaina plays the female lead in Thiruthani which also has Raj Kiran, playing the army man, Vinod and MS Bhaskar.

For the first time Perarasu has handled the story, screenplay, dialogues, direction, lyrics and music for the film.

Thiruthani will be Bharath’s big summer release in April.

Reema’s Tamil movie ready


Reema Kallingal, the young Mollywood actress who shot to fame within a span of an year is debuting in Tamil with the movie ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’.

The actress who had to debut in Tamil with a Lal Jose movie, is now debuting with this flick directed by G N R Kumaravel. The movie will have Bharath in the lead role opposite Reema, which tells a long journey of the lead pair.

Meanwhile, the actress has plenty of Malayalam youth movie projects up her sleeve.
